INSPIRATIONS : A GOAN KISS
I spent New Year’s in Goa, India.
It was magical. Pure, lush nature, parties on the beach and crazy scooter rides through dirt roads and jungle, across bridges, past chanting temples, through marketplaces with luscious fruits, and women balancing large jugs on their heads, cows and dogs calmly walking the streets and scooters and cars all competing for space on the bumpy and narrow roads.
I watched the last sunrise of 2014 on a hilltop overlooking the beach and a jungle… and the first sunrise of 2015 in an exotic mist I can’t describe (I don’t quite remember what happened in between!). I was totally in awe at Mother Nature, this amazing place, and it’s people. The whole experience still feels like a dream.
So, here’s a taste of Goa – and here’s to 2015!
(PS: ‘A Goan Kiss’ is a burn you get when your leg touches the exhaust of a scooter or motorcycle – a souvenir of my trip)
