Leading our occupational therapy team, Rachel Hutchinson is fully qualified and is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC, OT23600) and a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT). Rachel Hutchinson (née Seabrook) is Clinical Services Director of NRS Healthcare. Rachel has been an occupational therapist for over 28 years, working across a wide range of sectors but specialising in social care. Rachel ended up running her own private occupational therapy business for a number of years before becoming employed by NRS Healthcare in her current role. Rachel was responsible for developing our Clinical Team across the NRS Healthcare business including technology enabled care, occupational therapy assessments, wheelchair services, and our clinicians who work in our community equipment contracts throughout England. From joining NRS in 2010, as the only occupational therapist, Rachel is now responsible for leading the NRS Clinical Team of around 170 colleagues who help people every day to find the right products to suit their daily living needs and stay independent and safe for longer at home. Rachel is passionate about her role and loves to bring out the best in people. One of her favourite aspects of her role is enabling people to become qualified occupational therapists through the apprenticeship route and embark on a fulfilling career. Outside of work, Rachel loves spending time with her family and friends, running in the woods with her dog, and kitchen discos. Her claim to fame is that her grandad helped invent Cadbury’s mini eggs!
