Rollators and wheeled walkers are mobility aids designed to give you the support you need to get around with more ease.
They come in a wide variety of styles and designs, so you can find the one that better suits your unique circumstances and budget.
Rollators and wheeled walkers can offer a little extra support for you while you're walking. The wheels help to make it a little easier to push the walking aid ahead of you, too.
If you are getting a little unsteady on your feet, need extra support when walking, and a walking stick isn't quite giving you the help you need, you may find a rollator or wheeled walker useful.
They can also be useful if you find it difficult to carry items and walk at the same time as certain rollators have a bag or a basket that can hold small items for you.
There are a few safety considerations to keep in mind when using a rollator or wheeled walker. You should make sure that you always face the front of your rollator - roll it with you, try not to twist around without it.
You should also make sure that you're "inside" the rollator frame when using it.
Don't forget to double-check the measurements on the rollator and make sure it can adjust to your height and is suitable for your weight before purchasing.
