Wheelchairs are mobility devices designed to help those that can't walk or those that struggle to walk, get around the house and outdoors. They are usually either manually controlled wheelchairs that allow someone to either self-propel or be pushed by another person or they are powered wheelchairs, operated by a control pad/joystick.
The right wheelchair or mobility aid can really help someone either continue enjoying their favourite activities or regain their freedom. It may allow them to get around their home more easily or go out to the local shops and lead a more independent lifestyle.
